RESEARCH SURVEY ON NURSES OPINIONS (GAUTENG)

Executive Summary

The Democratic Alliance conducted a research survey on the attitudes and opinions of nurses in Gauteng state hospitals in January this year. Despite obstruction by hospital management, 220 questionnaires were completed anonymously by nurses and returned in a reply-paid envelope. Twenty questions were asked, half of which required ticking off a defined response, and the remainder seeking free comment.
