The details are as follows:

  • Thursday, 13 July 2023, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Fezeka Administration Building, corner of Govan Mbeki and Steve Biko Drive, Gugulethu

The Fezeka Municipal Building houses the City’s local revenue office, Subcouncil office, municipal court and various other municipal offices. The Corporate Services Directorate through its Visible Improvement Programme improved the customers’ experience at this key municipal building in Gugulethu by upgrading the main entrance and establishing a water-friendly garden, creating a more attractive, clean and inviting environment.

Next week, the City’s Customer Relations Department’s mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically. Customers can engage with the City in a wide range of non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewerage, electricity, water, refuse collections, and all other account enquiries.

To date, the mobile office team has been very effective in resolving long outstanding queries for residents.

‘This is a special opportunity for Gugulethu residents to resolve any municipal items they have wanted to address. Should you wish to make use of the services on offer do remember to bring along your ID or municipal accounts to help ease the process,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
