The DA has retained Ward 2 in the Witzenberg municipality after a hotly contested by election yesterday.
The return to the polls in the Western Cape municipality was triggered by the death of the DA councillor who won the ward in the 2021 Local Government Elections.
The majority of voters in the ward have again put their faith not only in the DA’s values and principles but also in the DA’s ability to continue delivering services to the people of Witzenberg.
We wish to congratulate the newly elected DA councillor, Patric Daniels, on his victory. Patric brings with him a wealth of experience, and having lived in Wolesely his whole life, he has a sincere passion for the community and takes their concerns to heart.
We are confident that he will work hard in Ward 2 and that he will make sure to continue to bring the DA difference to the community of Wolseley.
