13 Jul 2023 in Where We Govern

The City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office is bringing its customer relations team to Crossroads and Lotus River next week, to assist with a wide range of municipal enquiries and service requests. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity. Read more below:

The details are as follows:

  • Tuesday, 18 July 2023, from 10:00 to 14:00 at the Crossroads Multi-Purpose Hall, Corner of Ntsikizi and Sonwabile Drive, Crossroads
  • Wednesday, 19 July 2023, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Lotus River Community Hall, Corner of Buck Road and 6th Avenue, Lotus River

The intention is to provide customer services to communities that are far from municipal facilities, such as housing and subcouncil offices or Free Call lines.

The City’s Customer Relations Department’s mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically. Customers can engage with the City in a wide range of non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewage, electricity, water, refuse collections, and all other account enquiries. To date, the mobile office team has been very effective in resolving long outstanding queries for residents.

‘We are bringing services to Crossroads and Lotus River to afford residents the opportunity to enquire and to resolve issues in the comfort of their area. Should you wish to make use of the services on offer do remember to bring along your ID or municipal accounts to help ease the process,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
