“Make sure that Avianpark Clinic is there for generations in the future”
Make a site of the Avianpark Clinic by utilizing and maintaining it so that many generations in the future can also use it.
This is the profession that the Western Cape Minister of Health, Dr. Nomafrench Mbombo, on patients when she officially opened her Avianpark Clinic on August 26. Since it was commissioned on July 1, up to 100 patients have been helped per day, and staff expects more and more people to come here for health services.
“A clinic is just like a home,” she said. “It is just a building. But, just like with a house, it is transformed into a home through love and passion. This is what staff and community are here for. The clinic must be here for your grandchildren and their grandchildren. “
The clinic, which is worth around R30 million, boasts best in security and other security systems, a work of art by a local artist, and provides services to prevent illness conditions, and to ensure people’s wellbeing.
The clinic, next to Avianpark Library in Pelikaan Street, offers a comprehensive package of services for everyone in the family. This includes immunization for children, family planning, care during pregnancy and beyond, managing chronic disease, and more. Visit the facility on weekdays (excluding holidays) from 07:30 – 16:00.
