Mobile Office to visit Rylands

06 May 2022 in Where We Govern

The City’s Mobile office will be deployed at the Rylands Community Hall, Balu Parker Boulevard in Rylands, on Tuesday, 10 May 2022, from 09:30 until 13:30 where officials from the Customer Relations Department will assist residents with general service enquiries.

‘The purpose of the mobile service is to give our residents an opportunity to have face-to-face interaction with the officials about their service issues. It is convenient, because it means they do not need to travel to City offices, and spend money on transport. We realise that some people prefer speaking to a person to resolve issues. We are therefore making this service available,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.

The officials will assist with municipal account enquiries including rates, sewage, electricity, water, refuse collections, potholes and all other account enquiries. They will also assist with general enquiries relating to City Parks, Urban Waste, Property Management, Valuations, and all other general enquiries.

‘I want to encourage residents to make use of the opportunity to visit the mobile office, and to please ensure that they bring their identity documents and municipal accounts to help ease the process,’ said Alderman Uys.
