The DA wishes to a appoint dynamic, self-motivated and goal driven individual, who will be based Mtatha in the Eastern Cape. The successful candidate will report to the Provincial Constituency Coordinator and take direction from the Provincial Director and Constituency Head.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Logistically supporting Party public representatives in their efforts to grow and keep DA support, advance the DA brand, and meet statutory obligations
Prospective applicants must meet the following requirements:
- National Senior Certificate or equivalent
- Tertiary qualification advantageous
- 3 years’ experience in a relevant role/field
- Experience in project management
- Understanding of basic financial principles
- Computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisational abilities
- Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in more than one language
- Ability to apply sound political judgment and the ability to identify key issues relevant to communities
- An in-depth knowledge and understanding of the South African political landscape
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the Party
- Ability to build trust relationships within a community
- Proven record of initiative, problem solving, and the ability to recognise and implement improvements to systems
- Commitment to the principles, policies, and programme of action of the Democratic Alliance
- An ability to work effectively and energetically around a demanding work schedule
- Applicants MUST be in possession of a valid driver’s licence and have access to an insured vehicle for daily use
