Getting to know Danie Putter

Danie is your DA candidate. He is a proud resident of Bonaero Park for the past 16 years.

He started his career in 1986 at the South African Air Force and was an Aircraft Fitter and Sergeant. He then joined Old Mutual as a representative for life and short-term insurance.

He is currently the owner of Danja Handy Man Services.

Danie is a Ward Committee Member for Ward 23 Infrastructure Services, Chairman of the South Africa Veterans in Kempton Park, Vice Chair of the South Africa Veterans Sector in Koorsboom, CPF Member, Management Committee for Impala Voortrekkers and an official and coach for the South African Defence Force Wrestling team.

He is actively involved with clean-up projects in the ward. He has a passion for the well-being of people. He is also actively involved in community safety initiatives.

He started Ward groups and is also running a Job Seekers and Job Finders group with success.

• Illegal dumping and sewage: I will work closely with the municipality and help to get sewage systems re-routed and repaired to a functioning state. I will monitor refuse collections and follow up with the department where this is not up to standard.

• Service delivery: I will work closely with the municipality to ensure that every resident receives only the best services. I will follow up on all complaints that have been reported and give our residents feedback with the outcome. Not one person should be without basic services like water and electricity.

• Unemployment: Unemployment is a big concern. I am currently running a very successful Telegram group with close to 1 000 members already registered. I will, to best of my abilities, help the unemployed to find work.
