Yvonne is your DA candidate and she is a proud resident of Heidelberg for the past 33 years.

She started her own social media newspaper, known as Proudly Heidelberg.

“I want to play my part in ensuring the future of this town and its people. A town with historic value and perfectly situated for industrial companies, all nestled in a beautiful town where children still go to school barefoot, need to be treasured and developed to its full potential.”

– Yvonne Combrinck, Ward 8 DA candidate

My priorities:

As councillor of Ward 8, I will make use of every available resource and work closely with the Lesedi Local Municipality, to ensure that reliable services are rendered. I understand the frustration and feeling of helplessness when residents are left in the dark during water- and power outages. I will continue to give residents reliable and accurate feedback during these times, as I understand all too well that we need to prepare for continuous water- and power outages in our households as well as our businesses.

Furthermore, I aim to unite the residents in the suburbs of Ward 8 to work together with their councillor, to make our ward one to be proud of. There are many individuals, groups, and organisations in this ward that regularly roll up their sleeves with me to clean our parks and public areas, cut grass next to the Blesbokspruit (in Shalimar Ridge), pick up rubbish throughout the Ward, and even fix potholes.
