Tomorrow, Wednesday, 26 July 2023, the DA will march in protest against the ANC’s new Race Quotas.

DA Leader, John Steenhuisen, along with Federal Chairperson, Ivan Meyer, Western Cape Provincial Leader, Tertuis Simmers, City of Johannesburg Caucus Leader, Belinda Kayser-Echeozonjoku and thousands of supporters, will lead the demonstration through the streets of Cape Town, heading to Parliament – the scene of the ANC’s crime.

We invite all South Africans to take part in this march to put a stop to the growing racialisation of opportunity and resources, at the hands of the ANC Government, before it is too late.

Members of the media are invited to attend and there will be an opportunity for interviews and photographs.

Details are as follows:

Date: Wednesday, 26 July

Time: 9:30 am (Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time for setup)

Location: Darling Street Parking Lot, Cape Town

The march makes clear that the DA will not tolerate the ANC’s new Race Quotas, which we believe will divide the country on the basis of race.
