Today at 13:30, ahead of corruption-accused ANC Minister Simelane’s budget debate, the DA will brief the media on the charges, the investigation and the implications for the budget debate.

DA Human Settlements Spokesperson Luyolo Mphithi MP will lead the briefing ahead of the DA’s decision to debate against Simelane’s budget vote.

Mphiti will also represent the DA in the debate.

While President Ramaphosa takes no action against corrupt ANC Ministers and Deputies in the National Executive, the DA will fight against this corruption.

President Ramaphosa’s failure to remove Simelane reflects the ANC’s ongoing protection of corruption.
