The Democratic Alliance is proud to acknowledge the important work of our members of the National Executive, who have made a substantial contribution to this weekend’s G20 Leader’s Summit.
Each DA Minister has played their part, whether convening working groups, hosting their opposite numbers from fellow G20 states, leading content summits, drafting policy, or representing South Africa in the organizational and logistical aspects of the G20.
It is the commitment of time and effort, and expertise, from dedicated members of the national executive upon which the success of this G20 Leaders Summit rests.
Now all eyes are on NASREC, for the heads of state and government to debate and decide on key mutual interventions for progress in development and trade, and in ensuring that human rights remain at the centre of our concerns.
The DA wishes all nations and all participants attending the summit well.
