Confidentiality and Use of Information Notice 

The Democratic Alliance provides this platform for members of the public to report concerns relating to public procurement, state contracts and possible unethical or unlawful conduct.

You may submit information anonymously. Providing your name, email address or telephone number is optional.

If you choose to provide contact details, they will be used only where we need to contact you for further information or clarification regarding your submission. 

Information submitted through this platform will be reviewed by authorised members of the DA’s parliamentary and research team and may be used to support parliamentary oversight, including parliamentary questions, committee processes and other lawful oversight activities.

Where the information provided gives rise to a matter that may warrant further investigation or action, relevant information may be referred to an appropriate authority or oversight body, including SAPS, the Special Investigating Unit, the Public Protector, a Parliamentary Committee or another competent authority.

Please only provide information that you believe in good faith to be relevant and accurate. Where possible, avoid providing personal or sensitive information that is unrelated to the matter you are reporting.

Personal information submitted through this platform will be handled in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA) and the DA’s Privacy Policy.
