It was a joyous occasion when 130 title deeds where handed over to residents of Robertson in Langeberg municipality in October 2018.
Western Cape Minister for Human Settlements Bonginkosi Madikizela and Executive Mayor Henry Jansen handed over these title deeds to new home owners. Mayor Jansen stated that the municipality had prioritised the elderly and disabled for these housing opportunities.
The Nkqubela housing project in Robertson is worth R12 million and the houses are 40 m2 in size.
Mayor Jansen said that he hopes these new homes bring a sense of pride to all.
