This morning 36 beneficiaries of the Qolweni 169 Housing Development received keys to their brand new houses.
The excitement from these first-time homeowners could not be hidden as they received their keys from the Western Cape Minister of Infrastructure, Mr. Tertuis Simmers, Bitou Executive Mayor, Cllr. Dave Swart, Deputy Mayor, Cllr. Mavis Punkie Busakwe, and Councillor from Ward 3, Cllr. Thembela Mhlana.
There was a commotion from some of the Community members before the handover took place but the matter was addressed and the event carried on.
The project is proceeding well and is still on schedule.
