“I am looking forward to opening the doors on these days and getting to meet and chat to our residents. Each month’s Open Thursday will be themed and for this first Open Thursday I would like to encourage our young entrepreneurs to come and share their business ideas with us,” said the mayor.

Bouw-Spies’ first Open Thursday is planned for March 2, Ground Floor, Municipal Building, 5 Clyde Street, Knysna.

“We will have staff members from our youth desk and economic development on hand to assist with any questions these young entrepreneurs may have,” the mayor concluded.

While this initiative is aimed at increasing public access to the Mayor, it is not the only time that the public can interact with her and residents are encouraged to use all avenues available to access their municipal officials. .
