George Civil Engineering Services will undertake an upgrade of the main water line which supplies a large portion of George including Kraaibosch, Wilderness, Blue Mountain, Thembalethu, Groenkloof, Lavalia and Garden Route Mall. The upgrade is planned for Tuesday 7th from 19h00 to Wednesday 8th November at 07h00.
The work undertaken will connect the new George reservoir which is currently under construction to the main water lines. During the upgrade no water will be supplied to these areas. Please ensure that you save extra water to cover for this period and ensure that geysers and taps etc. are switched off. The upgrade is dependent on weather conditions and may be moved should weather not permit construction to proceed.
