“Dress a Matriculant” is an initiative sponsored by the DA-led Mossel Bay municipality which strives to assist matriculants with attire for their matric ball in the form of suits and dresses.
This initiative was undertaken to specifically assist learners who cannot afford to buy or rent clothing for their matric farewell due to financial difficulties.
Sao Bras Secondary School hosted their matric farewell on the 12th of April 2018 in Mossel Bay City Hall. This year, eight learners were sponsored with outfits- five males and three females. These learners were dressed to the nines and sported their outfits with great enthusiasm and delight.
