The DA-led Saldanha Bay municipality is celebrating the centenary of former president Nelson Mandela’s birth with a depiction of the national flag by graffiti artist Falko Fantastic on the municipality’s finance building in Vredenburg.
This project forms part of the municipality’s Colorful Vredenburg Project which aims to beautify the municipality’s commercial hub. Executive Mayor Marius Koen expressed his intention to ensure that Vredenburg no longer pales in comparison to the other towns in the municipality.
