The DA wishes to appoint a dynamic, self-motivated and goal driven individual, who will be based at our Federal Head Office in Cape Town. The successful candidate will report to the Fundraising Team Leader, with an indirect reporting line to the Senior Fundraising and Compliance Manager.
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Managing and expanding the Party’s debit order donor base
- Managing queries related to debit order donations
- Administering follow up processes arising from debit order donations
Prospective applicants must meet the following requirements:
- National Senior Certificate or equivalent
- 3 years’ fundraising, call centre or customer services experience
- Computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite, with experience working on databases
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational abilities and administrative skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to produce accurate, high-quality work in line with specific standards
- Ability to take responsibility and act accountably
- Systematic, comprehensive, and displaying excellent attention to detail
- Commitment to the principles, policies, and programme of action of the Democratic Alliance
- Outcomes-orientated, not simply task-orientated
- Willingness to go the extra mile, which may include working long and irregular hours, weekends, and public holidays, where necessary
