Joseph Job McGluwa grew up in the Alabama suburb of Klerksdorp (Matlosana). He matriculated at Alabama Senior Secondary School and obtained a Certificate in Governance and Public Leadership from UNISA. He also read for an advanced certificate in Public Administration and Leadership from Wits, and received a post-graduate diploma in Management at the same institution.
Joe is the shadow minister and spokesperson for Public Service and Administration. Mr McGluwa is the Constituency Head of Mahikeng, Tswaiing and Ratlou. He is a Federal Council member and the Leader in the North West for the DA.
The provincial leader was with the Independent Democrats from its inception.
Joe was formerly a member and member-elect of the National Assembly. He has served on the portfolio committees for Sport and Recreation, Home Affairs, and Housing.
