Economic Justice Policy


The DA’s Economic Justice Policy seeks to create an economically inclusive South Africa, free of any superficial differences between us. A just society in which economic opportunities are available to all and people have the capabilities to make use of those opportunities.

Issues with current legislation that stand in the way of economic inclusion include:

The solution lies in an approach which would address the key drivers of inequality of opportunity, as well as broader socio-economic needs. We propose using the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals as the framework for redress.
