In October 2015, Free State farmer and DA councillor, Alison Oates was brutally attacked on her farm in Harrismith. Words cannot express the severe torment and pain she suffered.
Alison’s attack came just a month after the brutal murder of farm manager, Robert Rhadebe, and the terrible assault on his widow, Martha Rhadebe, in the same Harrismith area.
To highlight the persistent lack of rural safety from the government, Alison recently led a march with Free State Premier Candidate, Patricia Kopane, and Team One South Africa Spokesperson on State Capture, Natasha Mazzone.
