MY PRIORITIES:
- Services Delivery: I will continue to fight for solutions to the aging infrastructure concerns causing constant power outages and water faults. Keeping the pressure on Roads and Stormwater to repair our roads and drainage concerns.
- Public Lighting: I will fight to address streetlighting and aging infrastructure concerns – keep working with community leaders and senior officials to address the backlogs, especially those affecting residents of the ward at large.
- Water and Sanitation: As a local Government Councillor I have a more direct link to the Municipality that provides these services.
- Stormwater: The infrastructure has been neglected for far too long. I will fight for budget allocation and monitor implementation to achieve best results
- Roads: To keep addressing the issue of damage to roads caused by the floods, blocking access to properties and causing traffic build-ups as well as causing safety concerns for residents.
- Economic Development: I will engage with communities and sector departments to promote the needs in the community through the inclusion of economic development initiatives, policies and programs that increase job opportunities and responsible development.
