MY PRIORITIES:
- Service delivery: I will work closely with the municipality to ensure that every resident receives only the best services. I will follow up on all complaints that have been reported, and give our residents feedback with the outcome.
- Temporary bridge: The community of Zithobeni have to cross a very rickety piece of steel to get to town. I will fight for a temporary bridge and fight for a permanent fixture to be added to the IDP.
- Satellite Police Station: Sokhulumi is 40 km from Bronkhorstspruit, and it takes police long to get there. I will engage with the Police Department for a satellite station.
- Illegal dumping: I want to get residents more involved in reporting illegal dumping, and help to ensure that residents are safe and secure when going to the local dump sites.
- Businesses: Local businesses need reassurance that Bronkies is still a viable place to do business. I will do all I can to ensure that service delivery is improved so that they are willing to invest more in the town.
