Getting to know Henk Human

Your DA candidate, Henk Human, has been working in the community of Sasolburg and Vaal Park for more than 20 years. He was part of Sasol Community Affairs for the first 10 years, leading various community projects and programs. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer of the Rejuvenation Community Trust, actively serving and supporting community projects within the Sport & Recreation, Environment, Arts & Culture, Education, and Safety & Security sectors.

He is also serving as the Chairman of the DP de Villiers stadium Controlling Body to ensure effective management and ongoing maintenance for a sustainable and functional facility for our children.

My Priorities:

Community Partnerships

I aim to form partnerships between government, local businesses, community organisations, safety & security forums, and residents to work together in making the difference we all want to see. If everybody pulls together, we can make an impact on service delivery to provide a safe and secure community for everyone to enjoy.

Beautifying parks and the surrounding environment

I want to put together an action plan for the maintenance and management of the parks and other surrounding environmental landmarks in the Ward. We need to create a safe and secure space for our children to play again. I will work hard to restore and beautify the environment and facilities to their former glory.

Community safety

I am very serious about the safety of our community. We will create an integrated safety plan between SAPS, CPF and other local community safety forums, emergency services, and neighbourhood watch groups to increase visibility and response to safety issues in our community.
