Getting to know Samantha de la Rey

Samantha was born and raised in Pretoria. She grew up in the Moot, where she matriculated from Die Hoërskool Wonderboom. In 2014, she relocated to Pretoria East. Samantha studied logistics and supply chain management and is currently enrolled in a B.A. degree in policy studies.

She worked for the City of Tshwane as the Senior Secretary to the Section 79 Health Oversight Committee Chairperson and as a committee secretary in the Mayor’s Office under Cilliers Brink. Samantha enjoys spending time with her family, her two dachshunds and going to the gym

My Priorities:

Service delivery:

I will ensure that essential services reach all residents promptly and efficiently. I believe in transparency, accountability, and active community engagement to improve the quality of service delivery. My goal is to build trust through consistent action and results.

Community safety:

I believe in creating secure, supportive and empowering environments. I will proactively work with local authorities, the community, and organisations to address safety concerns and implement practical solutions that will better our community.

Community representation:

I will be a strong, transparent, and accessible voice for all residents. Your concerns, needs, and ideas will be heard and acted upon. My

priority is to build trust through open communication and inclusive decision-making
