Your DA candidate Alta is a proud resident of Tshwane.

Alta was a Councillor for the DA in Ward 9, Vryheid. She was also a Member of the Mayoral Committee, and is currently a PR Councillor in Tshwane.

Alta was also the Chairperson of LLF (Labour Law Forum) for 5 years!

She successfully managed to get the water supply in working order in Vryheid, where the taps were dry for 18 months.

A proud mother of 2 sons, Rikus and Ruan, she enjoys bowling, camping and gardening.

My priorities:

• Streetlights that are not working are a huge issue in our ward. I will escalate these streetlight faults street by street, and will ensure that they are fixed and maintained.
• This will increase the safety of residents. I will support/build relationships with CPF and security forums in the community to form working partnerships between the public and private sector.
• I will create good relationships with the municipality and all relevant departments to ensure that service delivery is of good quality. Every person has the right to basic services.
• I will visit our local clinic often and I will escalate any issues that the clinic might experience with the relevant department and our MPL for health.
• I will always be available to our residents and assist you to the best of my abilities. I will give you feedback and keep you informed.

Together, we can bring about positive changes in Ward 64.
