Midvaal Local Municipality has been awarded prestigious awards at the South African Local Government Association (SALGA) 2021/2022 Municipal Awards ceremony.
The SALGA Awards ceremony is an annual celebration aimed at recognising the achievements of local governments and individuals in the sector.
Midvaal received awards in the following categories: Clean Audit Opinion for 2021/22 Financial Year, Award as a Winner for Improved Revenue Collection and Debt Management for 2021/22 Financial Year and Award as a First Runner-Up for Good Record Keeping for 2021/22 Financial Year.
These awards serve as a testament to our commitment to being a well-governed, effectively managed, financially viable, and sustainable institution.
