City libraries square up for Coding tournament

Participants from 26 City libraries are participating in the Coding4Mandela event at City Hall this week.

The tournament is the flagship event of Tangible Africa, responsible for creating coding applications, TANKS and RANGERS, which allow participants to play offline, using minimal resources.

The City’s Library and Information Services is one of the partners involved in the tournament, along with the Nelson Mandela University Computing Sciences Department and the Leva Foundation. More information is available here: https://bit.ly/3CqULlF

The tournament takes place on Mandela Day, and media are invited to attend as follows:
